I was thinking, 'Hmm, everyone's writing about their experiences in 2008, and new year resolutions for 2009. Should I do the same?'
But I guess, if I do, at least I've something to look back on when I get older..
2008 was filled with ups and downs (duh), but nevertheless, it was yet, another great year..
Perhaps it didn't start of too well.. I sort of, lost a friend, whom I quite regret because our past 4 years of friendship was filled with quite alot of humour.. But oh well, maybe I haven't lost that friend.
There were the release of results and posting results, wasn't quite happy with it.. But who could have known? JJ has filled me with priceless experiences and allowed me to meet the greatest people. Of course CSS did too, but at a smaller scale, lol.
At JJ, I came into a quite unbelievable class, of size 16, including our CT, 17. And met great friends! Who play hard, and study hard. And are always there when I need help with my work. Turn left, there's Guips, Huayp, Zhiwei. Turn right, there's Jin Hui, Hui Shan, Li Zhong. Everyone even knows how to joke, especially Hui Shan, Yaoan, and Razak. Of course, it's quite funny to see Aubrey and YK quarrel jokingly (no offence!!).
But I won't forget, the friends whom I thought had forgotten all about me, but actually they never did at all. Thank you, to the 3 girls, and Amanda especially, who understands whatever I feel, Jun, who always listened to my complaints.
And of course, thank god, for letting me meet The Pig. (: Who's always always there for me, buying Honey Lemon drink for me once he knows I'm coughing, willing to go a mile just to do something simple for me. Thank you. (:
Thank you, whoever's up there, for keeping my parents and siblings safe and healthy the entire of 2008. Because they are people who's always behind me, no matter how upset they get too. Especially my sister! Who's always in the same room for me to ka jiao when I can't sleep at night. Please also make sure she settles down alright in Australia when she gets there, and comes back again safely after completing her studies.
Last but not least, bless my friends and I, those who are taking their A levels, or O levels, or anyone else, to do well enough to meet, or even exceed our own expectations, and those of our loved ones; to not let them down.
